Sandbags Direct are UK flood defence experts, supplying reliable flood defence sandbags to homeowners, businesses and local authorities. We specialise in fast-deploy flood protection. All products are supplied via our trusted partner Stone Warehouse, ensuring quality UK flood protection and nationwide delivery.
Emergency supply capability statement
We maintain substantial stock holdings of sandbags and related flood defence products, enabling rapid dispatch nationwide through our pallet network.
Across our group, we have a total stock holding capacity of 125,000 tonnes, supported by annual production of 850,000 tonnes and £8 million invested in inventory. This ensures we can reliably supply councils, contractors and emergency responders, even during peak flood events.

Sustainable Production Practices
Our sand is a deliberately recovered secondary aggregate, produced as part of the controlled grading and washing of primary construction aggregates. It is not waste material, but a usable co-product that meets defined grading and quality requirements.

Rather than being discarded, this material is actively captured, processed and supplied into appropriate applications, ensuring that the maximum value is obtained from each tonne of quarried resource.

Delivery Information
We aim to deliver all orders within 2–3 working days from receipt of your order. Most orders placed before 1pm will arrive within 2 working days.
Orders placed before 1 pm, Monday to Thursday qualify for next-day delivery, with standard delivery within 2–3 working days of order receipt.
Next Day Delivery info:
- Orders must be placed before 1pm, Monday to Thursday.
- Orders placed before 1pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday.
- Bank Holidays excluded — deliveries will take place on the Tuesday in these cases.
How do we deliver?
All deliveries are subcontracted to palletised carrier companies. It is your responsibility to inform us of any delivery restrictions before dispatch. Please ensure you provide a complete delivery address, including postcode, along with a contact telephone number to avoid any delays.
